Title
A name given to the resource
Commercial Hotel / Burlington Washington
Description
An account of the resource
Photographic postcard of two women, man and child on porch of the Commercian Hotel; Two story building with concrete block exterior and large front porch. Big leaf maples and hammock on side of the building. The Commercial Hotel was located on Fairhaven Ave, halfway between Spruce Street and the railroad tracks. In the 1950s, the Commercial Hotel's tavern was owned by R.D. Walker, who owned a de-scented skunk. The skunk was very popular among tavern patrons, as it would run along the bar and look for nuts.
